This ‘proof of concept’ hike took was successfully completed on Saturday, Oct 21, 2017, visiting five breweries on the Eastern end of Prince William County, Virginia. Many practice beers were imbibed over many months of planning, and many questions were pondered. Could we do it? How long would it take? Some friends took a pass, concerned about the many possible bad outcomes from such an adventure. Not everyone’s cut out to be an astronaut either.
Willing wives were recruited to shuttle us to our starting point to arrive for their noon opening. We assumed we’d spend an hour at each brewery, used Google Map’s estimates for how long it would take us to walk between the breweries, and added some cushion to that to account for, well, potential diminished ability. That estimate came to 9 hours and 12 minutes. Our actual time was 8 hours and 43 minutes. Not bad at all!

Very sad share this news, but you still have time to get to Heroic, and to do our full Woodbridge Brew Hike. After that it will be one brewery and 2.7 miles shorter 🙁
